Hide Google Meet or Chat Sidebar From the Quick Settings
1. Click the Settings (gear) icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
2. In the “Apps in Gmail” section, click Customize.
3. From the pop-up, un-check Google Chat and Google Meet.
4. Click on Done
5. You will receive a message to reload the page to apply the changes. Click reload.
This will remove the Google Meet and Google Chat sidebar from your Gmail.
From all settings
1. Click the Settings (gear) icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
2. Click See All Settings.
3. Click on Chat and Meet tab.
4. Mark Chat as ‘Off’ and Meet as “Hide the Meet section in the main menu”.
5. Click on Save Changes
The page will automatically refresh, and the sidebar will now be removed.
